By using this website, submitting an inquiry, or engaging in therapy services with Liam Cudmore, LCSW, you agree to the following terms. These terms are intended to clarify expectations and protect your rights as a client.

Therapy Services

Therapy is offered virtually to clients located in New York, North Carolina, and Florida, where I am licensed to practice clinical social work. Services are provided to individuals and relationships in alignment with my areas of clinical focus. Therapy begins only after both parties agree to begin treatment and all required consent forms are completed and signed.

Use of This Website

This website is intended to provide general information about my therapy services. It is not a substitute for professional mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Submitting a contact form or inquiry does not establish a therapeutic relationship.

Confidentiality

Information shared in therapy is confidential and protected by law. Exceptions to confidentiality include:

Suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or vulnerable adult
Imminent risk of harm to yourself or others
A court order requiring disclosure

Further details about confidentiality are provided in the informed consent document you will receive before starting therapy.

Fees & Payment

Session fees will be discussed during your consultation and are due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon. I accept payment via credit card and other electronic platforms as specified during intake. Sliding scale options may be available and will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice (or missed entirely) may be subject to the full session fee.

Technology & Telehealth

All sessions are conducted via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. While I take all reasonable steps to ensure your privacy, I cannot guarantee confidentiality on your end of the call. Clients are responsible for attending sessions from a private, secure location with a reliable internet connection.

Modifications to Terms

I may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. By continuing to use this site or participate in therapy, you agree to the current version of the terms.
